The past months were extremely busy and the results are now coming to the fore. The mini-study for DG Enterprise and Industry on the impact of mobile services on tourism was presented at the Aosta seminar at St. Vincent in November and has just been published on the Europe-Innova site.
Studying creative industries is constantly accompagnied by efforts to define the boundaries of this sector. Most definition are driven by the available data and the research interests of involved people and do neither attempt to define the sector in a stringent way nor to develop definitions that can be used in across countries and aggregation levels. There are of course some exeptions.
We focus on science based consulting and economic policy advice on innovation, creative industries, competitiveness, and telecommunications regulation. Additionally we are working on new forms of interaction in the formulation of policy strategies and community based innovation efforts. We are strong believers in community based innovation approaches, will structure this site accordingly, and intent to tap your intellectual resources as well. Consequently we aim at two way communications rather than just trying to get our messages across.
