The past months were extremely busy and the results are now coming to the fore. The mini-study for DG Enterprise and Industry on the impact of mobile services on tourism was presented at the Aosta seminar at St. Vincent in November and has just been published on the Europe-Innova site. 

Also available is the Competitiveness Report 2010 which contains an extensive chapter on creative industries. We have contributed a survey of CI support measures across EU27 to this chapter. The long version of the chapter will be released later. Register or come back if you want to be informed on future developments.

The participation in UNECE´s Innovation Performance Review of Belarus was a particular experience. The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has conducted an in depth review of the innovation system on request of the Belarusian government. Being part of the team of experts opened all doors during our 10 day field mission. The recommendations for Belarus were discussed at the UNECE meeting at the beginning of December and will be further refined in the months to come.
